About Us
“My desire to build and be part of the family owned business moved me back to Nashville where I realized my true passion for construction.”

Julie DuPree is a second-generation builder. Having grown up and worked in a family-owned construction business in Nashville run by her father who was a builder/developer for 55 years, Julie knows her way around a construction site.
Julie graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Retail & Business Marketing. Her passion for construction moved her back to Nashville to work in the family business.
She later married and moved back to Knoxville and was raising two children while continuing to be part of the family business as much as she could. In 2005 she decided it was time to fulfill her dream of starting her own residential construction company based on the values she had learned from her father.
She started by buying a few lots from a family friend/developer in Knoxville, Dick Graf of R.W. Graf Construction. She built one home and by the time it was half way completed she had already landed a custom build . Dick was instrumental in helping her and teaching her along with her father. Dick's son Andy Graf was also a very important component of her success. Andy worked with Julie for the first 13 years (DuPree-Graf Construction).
Julie has a true passion for what she does. She builds every home like it is going to be her own while paying attention to every detail. Communication and working as a team are top priorities.
She truly enjoys what she does and limits the projects she does so the result is an outstanding product and amazing one on one customer experience.

Andy Graf - Superintendent
Andy Graf, with over 35 years of experience, brings dedication and true passion for building in every project. His father, a highly respected builder and developer for more than 50 years in Knoxville, has played a significant role in the shaping of Andy's career path. Andy has worked alongside Julie for 14 years, but their connection goes even further - their fathers were friends. Outside of work, Andy enjoys the outdoors by spending time on the lake, fishing and skiing. He is also committed to family and is an active member of his church.

Johnathan Heath - Contractors Assistant
Though Jonny wasn’t born in Knoxville, he’s been around long enough that he might as well have been. Thanks to his dad, he’s been in and around construction his whole life. Beginning while at Bearden High School, he worked for the same construction company as his dad, which carried through into his time at the University of Tennessee. Midway through his time in the School of Business Administration, Jonny had the hair-brain idea to start a mowing and landscaping company which he ran for a decade. During those years he also took on the role of deacon, teacher, and eventually elder/pastor at Grace & Peace Church here in Knoxville, and has been bi-vocational ever since.
After marrying Lindsay the same year he graduated college, the trade work continued. Whether renovating their home or tackling some other project she envisioned, the fate of jack-of-all-trades seems to follow (though he hopes to master some). decade. Jonny and Lindsay live in Old North Knoxville surrounded by friends and family. Their latest adventure includes raising two delightful children. Elias and Nora bring endless joy and plenty of laughter wherever they go. Together with Linds, they just might make a Christian out of Jonny after all.
It seem Jonny’s developed an allergy to shortcuts. Perhaps this explains his penchant for owning trucks that are almost as old as he is. In all seriousness, Jonny is known for his thoroughness and attention (sometimes obsession) to detail. Even if it means learning something entirely new, he will give the time and thought he would to his own things- and in all likelihood more so. Zealous commitment to quality and honesty are
virtues he strives to bring to everything he does.
Jonny loves to follow the way of Jesus. If he isn't reading some russian monk’s diary on his porch, he's probably wishing he was. But he’s also glad to giving himself to whoever is in front of him. Having begun with Dupree at the start of 2025, he’s truly grateful to be a part of the team, and hopes grow with them and be of service for many years to come. Besides keeping his shirt tucked in, his weakness is writing his own bio, so he had to conscript his wife and friend to do it for him.

Taylor Yoakley - Project Manager
Taylor was born and raised in Knoxville, TN. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Civil Engineering. He married his amazing wife Allison in 2010 and they have three wild little boys Liam, Asher and Rhett. The boys keep them busy and fill their lives with adventure and joy.
Taylor enjoys being outdoors, mountain biking, playing hockey, family getaways, lake weekends and serving Jesus. He loves working with his hands and creating new spaces especially in his own home. He also enjoys working creatively with people and bringing their dreams and ideas to life through craftsmanship.
Taylor was a wonderful addition to the DuPree Homes team. Julie immediately recognized his passion, values, and attention to detail. Taylor understands the experience, values, goals, and reputation that DuPree Homes has been built on since the beginning and he will make sure that every home meets the expectations of their clients.

Logan Nico - Superintendent
Logan Nico is a third-generation carpenter born and raised in Chattanooga Tennessee. After graduating high school from Grace Academy, Logan attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He was offered a job bartending at a local bar in Downtown Chattanooga and quickly rose through the ranks to become bar manager. In addition to learning invaluable people skills, Logan also utilized this position to acquire contacts and opportunities in the construction field. Being no stranger to hard work, he began working as a foreman running trim crews by day and bartending by night.
In his early 20’s, an opportunity arose with a commercial developer specializing in multi-family dwellings. He started out as an Assistant Construction Manager, but after the completion of his first project with his mentor Taylor, he was promptly promoted to Construction Manager. During his 8 years with this developer, Logan successfully completed over $58,000,000 in projects. Logan and Taylor kept in touch throughout the years.
After learning about DuPree Homes and seeing the incredible finished product that Julie presents to her clients- coupled with her overall passion for excellence, Logan knew that God had presented him with the perfect fit that brought everything together. When he’s not working, Logan enjoys the outdoors. Some of his hobbies include fishing, boating, cooking and spending time with friends and family. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Meghan, for five years. They have one boy (Beckett) and one girl (Mabry) together and reside in Madisonville TN.
